Playoff bound Seneca continues to suffer late, regular season loses

Posted Saturday, November 03, 2007 by Doug Melegari

The Seneca Football team is in the playoffs, but they must reverse their course by this weekend when they play their first playoff game of the season. The football team has suffered three straight loses, including the latest one Friday Night.

Sean Carroll had three touchdowns during the night, with two good kicks from Tom Schiraldi. The first touchdown occurred in the very beginning of the first quarter. The second touchdown occurred in the third quarter, but the kick was blocked. Then in the fourth quarter there was one final touchdown with a good kick from Schiraldi. This all added up to 20 points.

Unfortunately, Seneca could not stop the Washington Township Minutemen. They scored fourteen points in the first quarter, seven in the second quarter, and thirteen in the third quarter for a total of 34 points.
