Varsity has a spectacular fourth quarter and wins the Northern Burlington game!

Posted Saturday, September 29, 2007 by Doug Melegari
Varsity had a spectacular fourth quarter and won the Northern Burlington game Friday Night. " It was an ugly win" Seneca's Sean Carroll and Vince Henry both told me after the game. The final score was 16 to 7, Seneca. They have improved their record to 2-1. Seneca won the Lenape game and lost the Shawnee game.

In the first quarter, Northern Burlington had earned seven points. That was it for the night. Meanwhile, all of the Golden Eagles's scoring came in the fourth quarter. They scored a total of sixteen points. Sean Carroll and Tim Meise had the touchdowns. Seneca's Tom Schiraldi gave the team the extra points with two sucessful kicks. Two other points were scored on a saftey.

Seneca's fans, cheerleaders, and band once again did not lose hope and stayed until the very end supporting the Golden Eagles.

This football game will air on LDTV, the Lenape Regional High School district's cable channel. Times will be announced on the LDTV page which is located at lrhsd.org.
